Tengiz Sharmanashvili was born in Tbilisi, on 12 August 1964
1981- completed Tbilisi secondary school N5
1986- graduated Tbilisi State University, Department of Philology
1996- graduated Tbilisi State University, Department of Law
1986-1992 - worked at the Institute of Linguistics of National Academy of
Sciences of Georgia, Scientist- Researcher
1992-1995- worked at the State Chancellery of the Government of Georgia,
Head of Department of Human Rights Protection and Ethnic Minorities
1995-1999- was the member of the Parliament of Georgia, Deputy Chairman of Legal Issues Committee
1999-2000 - Head of Bureau of Chairman of Supreme Court of Georgia
2000-2004 – the member of the Supreme Council of Justice of Georgia
2004-2005- Tbilisi District Court, Judge
2005-2006 - Central Elections Commission of Georgia, Specialist
2006-2009 - UNDP decentralization support project, Project Associate
2009-2010 - Secretary of the State Constitutional Commission of Georgia
2011.02. - ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to RA-till now
Is married, has two children
Holds a rank of State Advisor of Justice and a diplomatic rank of Minister Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
