The aim of our website is to contribute to making the cooperation between Georgia and Spain more versatile and dynamic. Georgia and Spain situated respectively in the extreme west and east parts of Europe, share the same European values. Despite a vast distance between the two countries, Georgia always showed a keen interest towards Spain, its ancient culture, literature and traditions. Today when Georgia, its people and the Government are firmly determined to return to the European family from which they were severed for millennia, political and economic partnership with Spain takes on a particularly meaningful focus.

Our website will allow thousands of our compatriots living in Spain to get acquainted with concrete consular procedures for obtaining and extending the validity of their passports, various notary and civil acts. Spaniards and citizens of other countries can visit the website for information on the applicable visa policy, as well as political, economic and cultural processes taking place in Georgia and the existing relations between Georgia and Spain.

Georgia – a country of Golden Fleece, with rich history, versatile culture, spectacular landscapes and flamboyant people is roughly twice the size of Galicia and contains the population as big as the region of Valencia.

The World Bank announced Georgia as the top reformer due to Georgia’s tax code, which is the most liberal in the region and its successful fight against corruption.
